Learning that a sordid land development grab involves a prostitution ring, Murphy and Corky dress up as women of the night to get the story. Their undercover work takes them onto the streets where little twist occur that eventually put the story in jeopardy. Murphy though gets good revenge on Miles, giving him a feathered hat and funky jacket that makes him look more like a goatherd than a pimp. A funny commentary on the various ways that investigative reporters will go out of their way to get a story and how they sometimes backfire. Raye Birk (the flamboyant caterer from "Golden Girls") and Beth Broderick are recognizable among the supporting cast, and Peter Mark Jacobson (co-creator of "The Nanny") plays one of the men picking up the women at a party where Murphy and Corky try to expose the corruption. The two ladies allow themselves to look absolutely ridiculous in their prostitute disguise, and a great film noir spoof in the opening scene with Frank really sets up a fun story.
