Our world's future is really blossoming.

Warning: Spoilers
The future "Blossom" and young C. C. Bloom of "Beaches" (Mayim Bialik) basically plays a younger version of Murphy which makes her decide to become involved in the experimental FYI Jr. Corky's younger self is a carbon copy of her perky self which makes everybody want to strangle for the minute she comes out in a Corky like suit. Frank's stuck with an uptight teenager whom Jim initially thought was meant to be for him, and within a day or two, he's exactly like Frank, relaxed, sarcastic and a snappier dresser. Jim's stuck with a cool kid with the poofed up hair and earring and an attitude to match, and the team certainly has their hands full as they prepare for the first Saturday morning broadcast. Bialik shows real star potential, and it's great to see Murphy instilling confidence in her beyond the typical teen bravado. She's not just Murphy Jr. She represents hope for the future, something that's not there in the opening segment where real life teenagers on the street don't even know the position that Vice President Pence have at the time or knew what country Fidel Castro was the president of. Elden gets a good one on his crush, Corky, which really looks dejected when Elden tells her that he's moving on. A bittersweet finale shows how the influence of the networks ruin something that could be truly great, really hard-hitting coming from a show that took a chance when it tried to be different.
