12 to the Moon is a lame 1 star film made in 1960 in Japan. The production values, acting, direction, script and camera work are horrendous. But fortunately, the film was spoofed on Mystery Science Theater 3000, a cutting edge film satire show that aired in the 90s and gently admonished a few over 100 turkey films.
I am not quite as gentle as MST 3000, as you can see from my first two sentences. The spoof of MST 3000 was very funny. I cannot top their satire. However, I can be much more savage in my criticisms of the film.
This film was most likely made in less than a week and it shows in the production values. The acting is God-Awful. I was rooting for everyone on the mission to die horribly. See it on MST 3000 and NEVER by itself.
