The Lieutenant is under surveillance from that jerk Captain who got rid of Kelly. He has sent a former felon to record conversations. At some point this guy will need to be dealt with. The upper echelons of the police stink to high heaven. The major case is to try to put away a vicious murderer who has eluded them for years. Part of this is the daughter of a rich man who was found dead in the trunk of the guy's car. Finally, Andy and Sylvia reveal to Andy, Jr., that they are living together.

I'm watching this in 2019, so well after the series was over. Overall, the show is pretty good.
The big wrinkle is the romance aspect. I just don't see Costas falling for Sipowicz. Same as Donna and Greg. Just not buying into those personal relationships.
