At the 25:50 mark, Lt. Fancy states "Well, I guess I'll have to quote that Hebrew salami ad. I answer to a higher source." He is quoting the slogan from Hebrew National, a kosher food company, now owned (Jan. 2021) by ConAgra foods. The actual slogan is "We answer to a higher authority".
At the 30 minute mark, Malcom Cullinan states "... you could get her to say I was the wheel man in the Lindbergh kidnapping". This is a reference to the kidnapping of famed aviator Charles Lindbergh's infant son on March 1, 1932. The case received worldwide publicity and it was two and a half years before the perpetrators were arrested.
