The trial goes on. Part of the problem is that anything even slightly untoward makes the 15th look culpable. They are pretty typical, but police work in inner city New York is sometimes harsh. At one point the defense lawyer talks about Rodriguez's temper. He picked two isolated incidents in 20 years. The police part of this concerns a doctor who was cut in a mugging and the interrogation of a guy who had four previous muggings without any damage to the persons. Of course, the detectives just assumed that the guy had done the doctor.
