Watching through the lens of how absurd the New York Fashion industry is.

Warning: Spoilers
Pretentious and shallow, artsy yet empty in soul, everything that can be said to be wrong in a billion dollar industry is proven within a half hour. Maggie (Nichole Tom) is selected by Maxwell's old girlfriend, renowned modeling agent Lesley And Warren, to be her next big discovery, but while she has the look, she lacks in the passion. Actually, when she's made up in the ridiculous formless outfit, she looks absurd, so naturally pretty that the makeup and pointlessly expensive clothing just isn't her. Add in a prissy makeup person (Andy Dick) and an obnoxious, creepy photographer, and you have an episode that shows ten reasons (at least) that the fashion industry is the most useless business in the world, most likely not its intention. There's some funny moments where Fran, Niles and C.C. take turns bashing Downe, but the episode sends mixed signals on an ethical nature.
