Robert Conrad guest stars as C.C.'s father, an outgoing millionaire quite different than his stuffy, snooty daughter. He's one of the backers of the Streisand tour, and since C.C. is not a fan, Conrad asks Fran to go with him. After fainting (three times!), and this leads to C.C. fearing that Fran might end up seriously involved with her father. This leads Fran to become concerned that she's coming between them and decides to turn down Conrad's offer. There are a few great visual bits of visual comedy with Fran and Niles standing over C.C. who has fainted and the aftermath of the concert with a Barbra drag queen lookalike. A minor story involving Brighton and Maxwell planning go to a Mets game doesn't go anywhere.
