The final joke is a famous line from the O.J. Simpson trial---which received massive news coverage in that era. "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit", is what attorney Johnnie Cochran famously proclaimed in court, in his closing arguments. O.J. Simpson had tried the leather gloves found at his deceased wife's murder scene. In court, O.J. it was alleged that he could not fit his hands through the gloves, however he was wearing protection disposable gloves underneath, and they did fit him perfectly, once he pulled them all the way in.
