Warning: Spoilers
It really took too long for the team to discover who framed Tony. Legs were found with no body attached. All the forensic evidence pointed to Denozzo. Of course the one who figured it out was Abby. Very glad that Charles/Chuck is gone and we won't see him again. At the end it appears he would get Abby with his knife. But she has obviously turned the tables on him and has him bound with duct tape by the end of the show. The other extra characters were brought in to confuse the issue and distract from the real culprit. This is a good episode to find out who framed Tony because we know Tony would not murder anyone.

FUN!!! For centering on such a serious topic, this episode sure was a fun one!

*********************************************

You had Tony messing with his interrogator, then later prosecuting himself as if in court. A bluesy harmonica shows up to put a point on the woes of the jail cell. Abby gets all evangelist over her faith in forensics and last but not least... the whodunit??!? Watch and see, I won't be spoiling that!!!

I like the bit where they used forensic evidence to solve the case

Lacking common sense
CrimeDrama17 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Fact: The identity of body parts (legs) was not known early on.

Fact: Cause of death was not known early on.

How can anyone be considered a murder suspect with those two facts in hand? When police have an unidentifiable body or body parts, the FIRST thing they must do is identify the body/victim. They must also try to find the rest of the body. Common sense would dictate looking into cadavers from morgues but they didn't do that until AFTER identifying the body and cause of death.

Because they set this episode up backwards, it was easy to predict the outcome but not enjoyable to watch.

Not as good as it should have been.

Warning: Spoilers
"NCIS" has been one of my favorite series for years. Even though I liked Kate, Ziva is one of the most badass, interesting and entertaining characters in this great show. The 3. Season of "NCiS" is solid in my opinion, but not great. "Under Covers" being the best episode in the season by a mile. "Frame up" unfortunately is not very good episode, it's not bad, but kind of underwhelming in the long run.

Let's start with the good.

. The production values of the episode are great. The direction's solid and the music fits the scenery. The acting is good for the most part.

. The story is compelling at times, there are some entertaining bits here and there.

But...

. The narrative should have been more intense, there were times, when the dialogue was not top-notch and the story got a bit boring. The solution (Abby's assistent turning out to be the killer) was not that surprising at the end of the day either.

Overall, an underwhelming episode.

5/10 HK.
