At 07:30- can someone please explain: just how does one bury their pets under the porch of a tenth floor apartment? And how many of those pets were MURDERED, Jimmy?

"Actually, I did special order once."

(156-word review) Unfortunately, the streak that was beginning to make headway when it came to stronger episodes only lasted for two; this one was in the territory of 'serviceable enough for mild entertainment.' The first 20 minutes seemed erratic: quick and uneven, almost aimless-feeling pacing and editing, which took a toll as if there was an impending deadline to write this episode in a hurry. And the plot had a bit of a red herring undertone: giving the impression that you'll get something serious; either that was never on the table, or the landing of it failed miserably, as this episode seemed uneventful; it was still better and more memorable than the individual plot for the first three episodes.

But Elizabeth Peña added worthwhileness through her chemistry with Mark Harmon and her character's interactions with Gibbs. The interrogation/intimidation scene with Gibbs and Ducky did the same; Mary Page Keller's performance (specifically her character/character's writing) did just as much.
