The Russians, supposedly planted in the 1940s, were to be revived by satellite radio signals. Yet there were no satellites at the time; the first Russian satellite launched was Sputnik in 1957, at least a decade later. Its technology could not have been anticipated, still less the technology of a satellite from the 1970s.
