Let's Put on a Play!
Hitchcoc8 October 2019
Joanna goes to a meeting of the Community Theatre group, not realizing that they have been doing the same play for 30 years ('My Fair Lady, Without the Music"). Because she balks at it, they ask if Dick could write a play for them. He wrote a terrible play years ago, when they were young. He reluctantly agrees to let them perform it and ends up stuck as the director. His casting, however, gets him in trouble and everything is downhill. It's a very funny episode with all the townspeople being quite wonderful.

The town wants Dick to write a play
Jimmy_the_Gent46 February 2018
Dick had written a play years ago and Joanna wants to have it performed for the town.

Another funny townsfolk episode. Joanna wants to play the lead character of a young ingenue but Dick gives it to Stephanie instead. There are some funny auditions by people like Chester and Jim (singing Let's Call The Whole Thing Off) and a funny cameo by the talented comic actress Jackie Joseph.
