The Dr. Wiggle (Dr. Suess) dialogue and the TNG Trekkies beaming up out of the courtroom are memorable but the "C'mon Speedy!" bit was what likely put this on TV Guide's 100 Greatest TV episodes list for awhile and clearly served, at least in part, as the inspiration for the sloth at the DMV on the movie, Zootopia, decades later.

This is perhaps my favorite episode of Night Court, as the gang has to arraign a ton of cases after a water pipe bursts, including some dangerous criminals in Harry's office. (They used this formula a lot, didn't they?) My favorite cases were the Star Trek scene, the rap scene, the "Dr. Wiggles" case, the part where helium gets released into the courtroom, and the one where "The defendant was spotted running from the bank." This was hilarious all the way through and a good example of the show. Any fan of the series will love it. I certainly did! It also gave a good example of the hard luck Art faced in the show and Dan's character. *** out of ****
