Good Idea--Weak Execution
Hitchcoc19 March 2024
Sometimes when one wants to go avant-garde, he or she must make sure that despite the strangeness, it still has coherence and direction. Personally, I felt this one was all over the place, lacking a center. Mostly, people sat around, confused as to why they were having these surreal dreams (What dream isn't). But the sharing of things and giving the Northern Lights the credit is pretty much beyond the pale. It's not a bad episode because the characters are so interesting, but as a viewer it just didn't interest me--keep me in a kind of suspense as to the reasons. I do accept to some degree Chris's speculation about the electricity of the brain. At least this series didn't hesitate to take a shot.

So moving

Beautiful episode, Holling made me cry. A lot of emotion and wisdom in this one. Also love the minor characters shining in this, Walt, Ron, Erick. Most episodes make me feel warm and cozy, this one especially.
