The Disconnect (#3.09)

Warning: Spoilers
Marissa cares for an injured Johnny. But could they be getting too close? Ryan and Matt pull an all-nighter to prepare for a big meeting, but their night takes a turn. Seth grows insecure when Summer gets a higher SAT score than him. Now they might both be competing to get into the same college. Julie and Kirsten put their business plan in motion, but their first client turns out to be far from what they expected.

This was an awesome episode. Stephanie Savage is clearly one of the show's best writers, because every episode she writes really crackles like no other. There was definitely a renewed sense of self-awareness in this episode, one that hasn't been felt since season one. It had perfect comedic timing and was packed with tons of hilarious one-liners.

Warning: Spoilers
Summer gets a 2300 SAT and now has a chance for good school as well. so now her and Seth are competing for Brown. Sandy's young colleague is dumped by his girlfriend for taking his job and goes to a strip club instead of working on the meeting. Sandy fires him but gives a chance when his friend speaks for him. And Johnny tells Marissa that he loves her. Julie gets a date out of the business

Summer having a 2300 SAT? Oh well, sometimes weird things happen. And it is good in this show as their story in this episode was absolutely hilarious.

Oh Julie, how much I love her. Her business ideas, with stripping maids and high class dating service were some great comedy. She is sure special.

The story with Matt was kind of weird when Sandy was mad at him for going to strip club. Of course ruining the meeting was bad but Sandy actually said that the strip club was worse. How prude! And he was also pretty rude to the stripper. But it was great that they showed her as somebody who went to university and dances for law school
