Oil's Well?
Peter (Michael Callan) has become extremely cocky after investing in an oil well. Those around him are concerned about his behavior and the validity of the deal. Greta (Patricia Harty) and Mrs. Brahms (Joan Tompkins) decide to investigate the man Peter is doing business with- Col. Thorndyke (noted character actor John Anderson). The Southern man is having a party at his suite where Peter thanks the colonel's daughter Linda Sue (Elinor Donahue, "Father Knows Best", "The Andy Griffith Show") for getting him in on the deal. Mr. Brahms shows up and insists upon investing as well. Mrs. Brahms and Greta find from the company lawyer Milo Benjamin (Irwin Charone) that Col. Thorndyke has never brought in a well. Peter and Mr. Brahms try to get their money back.
The plot is very similar to I Love Lucy's "Oil Wells".
