The One Not In Order...

Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode. I thought it was going to be confusing, since it's not in a linear order, but it was actually really easy to follow. It is definitely one of my favorite Season 1 episodes, I think mostly because the relationships between Nathan, and Lucas, and Peyton, and Haley, become more intricate, and interesting.

In this episode, we see how one night effected so many people from our main characters list. At an away game, Lucas, and Nathan both get kicked out for fighting, leading Coach to kick them off the bus on the way home. They then get picked up by some "fans", ordered to fight, and buy alcohol in their underwear. Meanwhile, Brooke gets hurt, and is given pain medication, which she takes too much, and becomes kind of drunk. She, Haley, and Peyton all drive home together, and Peyton, and Haley become a lot closer during that car ride.

Fun fact: Brooke, and Haley meet for the first time.

Best part of the episode: Brooke acting like she's drunk.

Worst part of the episode: The douches who treat Nathan, and Lucas horribly.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Awesome.

This is really one of my favourite episodes of One Tree Hill. It's sort of the beginning of everything. It's the first time that Nathan and Lucas really work together. Peyton and Haley begin to bond too and Brooke expresses her desire for a real relationship with Lucas. This is the set up for most of the rest of the season. It is also the same for the parents. Dan's obsession with basketball intensifies, as do his problems with Deb. His disregard for Karen is also emphasised and Keith's love is put into the open. It also becomes clear that Dan not only has a disregard for his family but also those around him as he insults the couple sitting with them at diner. I recommend this episode, especially if you don't like Nathan so much, this is when my opinion of him changed. If you like this one you'll probably also like "unopened letter to the world" from season two.

I really liked this episode, and got swept up in watching it that I didn't take many notes for write this review. I take that as a good sign.

I like the opening where everyone are all BFFs and wondering if I'd somehow missed an episode or 10. I really liked seeing how they all got to this point and can really start to see where things are going to go.

The ending made me feel sad for Hayley though, she's the only one who seemed to be impacted on going back to normal.

As a side note, it was a little weird how the doctor guy just happened to have the pain killers in his pocket ready to go like that. Was a little creepy, but not enough to deduct a whole point.

Overall I like the main characters all getting along much better then them fighting, and its fun to watch the adults fight like kids.
