- Haley James: We are doing equations on the train.
- Nathan Scott: Well it's not exactly Risky Business but there's always the ride back.
- Deb Scott: [after seeing the therapist] You were right, Dan. We don't need shrink to identify this family problem. You just make it obvious.
- Dan Scott: You're not his only parent, Deb. Hey, why don't you drive with the old man, Nathan?
- Deb Scott: Stop it, Dan. Come on Nathan let's go.
- Dan Scott: Hey, let the kid make up his own mind. What do you say, son?
- Deb Scott: Nate?
- Dan Scott: [Nathan walks away madly] Nathan!
- Dan Scott: [Barges in the cafe] I know you like my women, Keith, but come on, Deb's still my wife.
- Keith Scott: It won't be for long to keep this up.
- Dan Scott: [Sits] I'm taking Nathan to dinner tonight. Do you have a problem with that?
- Deb Scott: Yeah. He needs a break from you.
- Dan Scott: You can't stop me from seeing my own son.
- Deb Scott: Actually I can, by telling you nicely or call a lawyer. Your choice.
- Dan Scott: Tell him I'll pick him up at 7:00.
- [Leaves]
- Keith Scott: Let Nathan come see me. I'll do what I can.
- Keith Scott: [Sees Dan confronting him at the garage] That's just freaky.
- Dan Scott: Hey! When did you get off and tell Nathan to quit the team?
- Keith Scott: I didn't tell him he could quit! He wanted to talk, we talked! Maybe you ought to try that sometime!
- Dan Scott: So he neglected the most of his life? I'm out of the house a week, and there you are.
- Keith Scott: He surprised me, Dan. You know, Nathan is a good kid! You got him so screwed up! He doesn't know what he wants!
- Dan Scott: The better half of your back, Keith?
- Keith Scott: Deb is the best thing Nathan's got going on right now. She's trying to save him.
- Dan Scott: What the hell do you think I'm trying to do?
- Keith Scott: I've been trying to figure that out all these years, Danny.
- Dan Scott: I don't mind you to play daddy on the offspring. But leave the good one alone, will ya?
