Very Different Sensations

Warning: Spoilers
This episode, named The Baby should have been much better of what it was. For one side, we had the delivery of Charlie's first child, but that he didn't see. Daphne's complications with her liver and the surgery were unexpected but when the doctor said to Charlie to choose, I don't think there was a choice. It makes no sense choose one or the other, because let's say Charlie chose the baby over Daphne, Daphne dies and the baby would be still premature or without certain viability. So obviously, the only possible choice was to save both, the one that Charlie took. I mean, it was to save Daphne and the baby or wait and not to save any of them (there was no point in this). Anyway, to have the support from everyone was ok, that Sarah was present, Kirsten too as always, Bailey, Claudia rushing to the airport to reach it, Julia, Paul. The bad thing was Ned. What was he doing in the hospital?? He has nothing to do with Charlie. Leaving that aside, there were some good scenes, like when Kirsten comforted Charlie about Daphne's surgery and the baby. He said that he spent all the last months, struggling with Daphne, only to see his baby born, and now, he missed the moment. Diana is one day old and he couldn't hold her. Later, the doctors let him and Daphne see the premature Diana, who is really tiny. The rest of the family is around waiting to see the baby too. Then, the final scene was really nice, he goes alone to Nicolas and Diana's grave, with a picture of Diana, cries and looks at the sky. I hope Charlie will do the same thing when his second child is born, I hope he and his beloved wife visit his parents grave with their baby and Owen too. Those scenes were the best of this episode, besides showed that Charlie is a good man who takes responsibilities and takes care of people, today of Daphne when she needed him. He needed Kirsten and Bailey's support, but he was good today. Still, there were some shocking moments, a surgeon saying to Charlie "your wife...", get outta here man, after watching the first 6 episodes of season 3 (besides seasons 1-2 and 3x12), Charlie has only one wife, currently lost, named Kirsten. And for that, is kind of weird or shocking to see Charlie taking care of other woman, even with Kirsten around (she had one scene with Daphne today, worried).

The other great part here was Sarah. She protected and comforted Hannah, she even gave her the right advice. But, the writers wanted the abortion so much, that they ruined Will, writing him as a selfish jerk and leaving Hannah alone. Even Bailey behaved poorly, paying for it, without having any consideration of Sarah's feelings. That was bad stuff that shadowed the miracle of Diana. And then, Hannah, leaving the shower in the loft, making comments about Diana and how beautiful she might be!!! What a huge contradiction there, and for Sarah!! She had to keep her anger towards Hannah for herself and then confront Bailey, telling him that she would never have an abortion, she would have a baby, no matter the time. Sarah is totally grateful to Robin Merrin for letting her live, and that's why she cried when she learned her demise. Then, there's another bad story that leaves bad sensations and low the rate today: Julia and Ned broke Maggie's heart, because they were too selfish to care about her. And Griffin was perfect here, since the beginning he disliked Ned, knowing it's a mistake to hurt someone for a boyfriend or a girlfriend (I think he was regretful today for what he did to Justin). Also, he took care of Owen in the house while the others were in the hospital, and allowed Maggie to play with Thurber, considering her dog died. Griffin is having his redemption this season.

The Baby (#5.5)

Warning: Spoilers
Charlie and Daphne have to make a decision if she should be in greater risk or the baby. Heather ends up getting an abortion. Ned comes to see Julia while she is with her family and Maggie finds out.

Didn't really like that episode because of it's morality. First of all to decide between the woman's life and that of an unborn baby should never be a hard decision to make. Sure, one will worry about the baby to survive but it should never be a priority.

I am glad I was wrong about Heather and that she aborted. I still found it annoying how they shunned Will, their friend, out for this stranger just because she is pregnant. And Bailey supported her to make a dicision but according to him Will had no right to make a decision for himself. She should have just gotten her abortion and not harass him for it.

And Ned coming was over the top. They just got together and he is so serious with her? He is willing to hurt somebody who was his girlfriend and whom he actually knew well for Julia? Screw them. I just feel bad for Maggie who got betrayed by two people.

Hope next episode will be better.
