Perry Mason conducts his 45 second experiment by radioing to Paul Drake to remotely turn off the natural gas and then turn it back on. At the end of that demonstration, which lasted a minute at best, the camera turns back to Walter Randall, but his watch now shows it as 3:15, nearly a quarter hour later.
