At 14:40 Jacoby checks a man's pulse, but makes the common mistake of using his thumb. As the thumb has a strong pulse of its own, any other finger must be used.
When Jacoby interrupts the hotel clerk, turns off the radio, questions him, then turns it back on as he heads up the stairs, the music takes about 20 seconds to come back on again. That strongly suggests that either the radio was actually being used as more than a prop, or that whoever directed the scene took special care to mimic the way a radio of that era would warm up. That kind of attention to detail was unusual in television production.
