Italian florist Mr. Vittorio Santini (Renzo Cesana) has opened a flower shop in Oakdell. When Wilma comes in, he is attracted to her strength and confident character. He confides in Peter how he has found his one true love. Mr. Santini uses her address to send a romantic letter to the "lady of the house". Naturally, Wilma and Mary thinks it is sent to Mary, and they try to hide it from Peter. Mr. Santini's assistant Annabelle (Pilar Seurat) calls Peter asking to help with the florist's love trouble- awaiting a reply to his letter. He encourages him to write another letter. Mary responds by going to the flower shop with a pushy, beatnik image to dissuade him. Peter finds Mary's letters, and find they are the same written by Mr. Santini. Can the miscommunication clear up and just what effect will it have?
