  Principal Calvin Krupps : [as Nicole and Mary Cherry peeks in]  Correct me if I'm wrong, Ms. McQueen, but, uh, isn't the fantasy of every girl, and my cousin Steve for that matter, to wear that coveted crown?

  Principal Calvin Krupps : Mm-hm. Right. What if I bought you some prescription glasses? If you wore those, then you could feel more substantial. Then, you could still be a... a Queen nominee.

  Brooke McQueen : Uhm, Principal Krupps, why are you pushing this Queen thing so heavily?

  Principal Calvin Krupps : Okay, uhm... To be honest, it's... it's blind panic. You see, Homecoming is very important at this school. It's where we get most of our donations. Last year, your crowning was a hit with alumni. As a result, we more than exceeded our fund-raising goal.

  Brooke McQueen : But that's so shallow.

  Principal Calvin Krupps : Yes... ah... but sometimes, you have to turn to style to get substantial change. Now, you see, I want to break ground on a new theater at this school. I need a blonde, svelte spirit figurehead that will cause alumni to cheer, swoon, and... open their wallets.

  Brooke McQueen : Well, I'm sorry, you're going to have to find someone else, because I am moving on to something that matters.
