There's no fraking around anymore, this time it's all or nothing for both sides. This is one of the best and darkest two parters in the Power Rangers franchise, part one definitely takes a really unfun turn where we see for once the good guys actually lose.

We see all over the galaxy that there are bad guys that are just invading and taking over on all fronts and our planet is next on their list. I'll admit seeing all this happening really made me worried not just whether the Power Rangers will triumph but if any will be able to survive. Sure they've fought against big odds before but this is totally different because this in an invasion force they have to deal with, and this isn't just another typical battle it's full scale war.

The battle we see is just great when we see the Power Rangers come down to earth to fight and we are seeing them giving it their all, beating the crap out of the baddies that are left and right, back and forward just covering every space on the planet. One highlight of the battle is seeing Andros using his Super Power Mode where he is flying around and firing missiles at some of Astronima's forces and he takes a good number down and helps Ashley. We even see Zane use the Mega Winger and like King Kong is trying to swat down the armada planes.

But despite there efforts they turn out to be fruitless as they've been overwhelmed and we see one by one each of them go down. It was so disheartening, because most times you expect the Power Rangers would triumph but this is not one of those times. So the Rangers are forced to fall back, and we see a cinematography shot where two of the Rangers Carlos and Cassie are running from a horde of solders after them, this really added to the disheartening feeling just showing that evil for once actually triumphs.

Another scene that adds to the disheartened is a campfire scene when some of the Angel Grove citizens start losing faith in the Power Rangers. The highlight to this scene is seeing both Bulk and Skull give a little speech about the Power Rangers to lift their spirits, it was interesting seeing that showing how unwavered their faith in the Raingers are and it makes since since both have been with the Raingers for the longest time, even thought they didn't know it. But what's disheartening about the seen is we see one of the Rangers pass by hearing this then walking away; the Power Rangers are already here but their not going to be able to save anyone.

Round One goes to the bad guys. Zero to the Rangers and all that is good.
