  [New officer Colleen Powell has just unlocked Bea's cell in time for morning muster] 

  Bea Smith : You're a bit of a let down. Where's Fletch the Letch?

  [following Colleen down the corridor] 

  Bea Smith : Off sick maybe?

  Colleen Powell : Maybe.

  Bea Smith : What's happened to him?

  Colleen Powell : None of your business.

  [Bea laughs] 

  Colleen Powell : [unlocking another cell]  C'mon, out you get.

  Bea Smith : You're new here, aren't you?

  Colleen Powell : So?

  Bea Smith : Well, I'll tell you how it works; you tell me...

  [indicating the other prisoners] 

  Bea Smith : ... and I tell them. That way no-one gets it wrong. No embroidery, no fancy theories and nothing to boil up and start trouble.

  Colleen Powell : You're Smith, aren't you?

  Bea Smith : Yeah. That's right.

  Colleen Powell : *Mr* Fletcher wasn't on duty last night; that's all I know.

  [she goes to leave but Bea follows] 

  Bea Smith : Hey, did Erica haul him in for questioning?

  Colleen Powell : Who's Erica?

  Bea Smith : Ha, you don't know much, do you?

  [she laughs] 

  Bea Smith : Anytime you want a run down of what goes on in Wentworth just come to me; no appointment necessary. No no no, don't thank me, it's my pleasure.

  [Bea leaves. Colleen mouths the word "bitch" as she follows]
