Episode 412 "Unless they lowered the drinking age to five, I could sure use a scotch." ~Lindsay

This was a fun episode, with a few absolutely spectacular scenes and several somewhat uninteresting ones. Well, that is to say just about as uninteresting as Queer as Folk can get, and that's not very much. I'm so glad that the writers finally delved into relationship territory with Emmett and Drew. The fantasy sequence was this episode's best to offer, and it was absolutely splendid. I really believed it was real at first, but then Emmett's hopes are basically shattered. Drew would rather live a lie than just tell the truth. And that's because he hasn't even accepted himself as being gay yet (or, more likely, bisexual.) He refuses to admit his sexuality most of the time, so his relationship with Emmett was bound to fall apart. Justin and Brian have some amazing scenes together. The lighting during the exercises was fantastic and leaved the viewer with a bizarre feeling of Babylon. Brian continues pushing himself hard. This episode gives birth to one of Brian and Justin's best sex scenes, or at least "in the top five." Hunter and Callie fell apart, but something tells me there is more to the relationship. Overall a very solid installment to the extraordinary season four.

Warning: Spoilers
I really think my favourite part of this episode is again the story of Hunter and his girlfriend. So sad to see how it went for him! And the scene at the end when he cries because he thinks that nobody will ever love him because of his status while Ben and Michael tell him that they will love him no matter what is very heart breaking.

I am glad the story with Doug Boyd is over. I did like it at the end but was not too impressed with what was done with it. It did provide us a very funny moment at this episode though: when Debbie is scared of Doug's car and wonders if Vic was involved with mafia in some way. Hilarious!
