Jeff investigates a dodgy therapist Doctor Lawyer, Marty encounters Wyvern, his guide to the spirit world.
Two words, Tom Baker, Doctor Who himself makes the big difference, he was genius casting for the show, he's cooky and bold enough to make the part really rather good.
Tom Baker fandom over, it's a lot of fun, you definitely see immediately that the cast had a great deal of fun making this, Clunes, Laurie and Allen are visibly having a blast.
It feels a little less raucous than the series opener, but it's still crazy, there are some nice, deeper moments, Ophelia for example. It's definitely a bit corny, and some of the special effects now look dated, I suppose they were a little kitsch even at the time.
It's good fun, 8/10.
