Horse manure Miss Jones!!

Sweet young couple Lorna and Robin turn up to stay at Rigsby's, he's set to give them a night they will never forget.

The fest episode not to feature Beckinsale, who had sadly passed, Alan is missed.

Leonard Rossiter's at the top of his game, his timing, facial expressions and plain physicality is just mesmerising, he is incredibly watchable, there is a magic about him. The lines he delivers are almost poetic, the speech about treating Lorna like a piece of Dresden is hilarious.

An appearance from the lovely Deborah Watling too, so sweet in Doctor Who, she's wonderfully sweet again here too.

Brilliance!! 9/10

Hello Young Lovers

It's a time for celebrating as a young couple stay at Rigsby's.

Miss Jones think that Lorna and Robin are newlyweds but they are not. They are just living together. Lorna thinks her father would object to Robin.

Once Rigsby and Miss Jones hear about this, they call her father.

It becomes a farce once Lorna's father turns up. He thinks Rigsby is the scoundrel who is seeing his daughter and later he thinks it is Philip.

By the time he finds out it is Robin, he is rather pleased.

It is an episode that shows even in the late 1970s there was disapproval of unmarried couples living together.

The second half is much funnier than the first half when the amorous couple just want to have some hanky panky but they keep getting disturbed.

It steps up when Lorna's father arrives. There is a reference to Guess Who's Coming to Dinner when he mistakenly thinks Phillip might be marrying his daughter.
