This penultimate 3-parter expands Rocky's universe (part 1)

After the Silver Moon is fired on by a mysterious flying saucer, possibly originating from Regalio (a planet circling Alpha Centauri) Rocky and his crew head to Herculon, a newly declared ally of the United Worlds, to begin an investigation only to face baffling behaviour from its suzerain, Juliandra (Ann Robinson). The flying saucers are a nice addition to the Rocky-verse but establishing that Earth's rockets have interstellar capabilities is a bit of a stretch. There is a time-filling secondary plot involving identity theft and Noviandra, Juliandra's never-before-seen evil identical twin sister (also Ann Robinson, the scene where she drugs her sister's drink is quite well done considering the technical limitations of the series). The story's chief villain is the arabesque, Nizam of Regalio (Ian Keith), a classic gloating megalomaniac who plans to pull Earth out of its orbit with a giant magnetic ray. After the previous weak standalone episode ('Vena and the Darnamo'), we're treated to an epic space opera involving many of the classic tropes and a great, albeit implausible, existential threat for Rocky to defuse. That Alpha Centauri is four light-years from Earth is a trivial detail that is best ignored.
