- Tod and Buz's stint working on the Brack chicken farm in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania may be cut short as they get caught in the middle of a family dispute. The farm is owned and operated by the family matriarch, Agnes Brack, who assumed operation following her husband's death. She is much more attuned to what it takes to operate the farm than her husband ever was. Also living and working on the farm is Agnes' eldest son, the Old Testament spouting Frank Brack, Frank's wife Beth Brack, and Agnes' youngest Laura Brack. The family dispute concerns those on the farm against Swedish actress Julie Brack, the widow of Mark Brack, who was Agnes' younger son. They were married for a short two months in Sweden before Mark died. Agnes and Frank in particular never forgave Julie for taking Mark away, and blame her for Mark's death. Julie is returning to Boiling Springs for an unspecified reason, Agnes and Mark who believe she is looking for a handout. But when Julie arrives, the issue for her return is obvious. The details underneath the surface of the story need to be raised not only for reconciliation between Julie and the rest of the family, but to understand fully Mark's place in their collective lives.—Huggo
