With Phil Silvers the special guest star of this edition of "Laugh-In", it's suitable that the show is doing a number on comics. Silvers teaches Dennis Allen about how to hit someone with a board, thinks he may have seen Lily Tomlin's Tasteful Lady somewhere in burlesque, and says "Sock it to me!" in front of Dan & Dick and gets water thrown on him! Dan gets that too after hitting Dick with a pie! Oh, and the rest of the cast with Silvers do that number about comics. Those segments were the most fun parts of the show which then mostly goes to many lame sketches. Though the closing with Wolfgang and Barbara Sharma's tap-dancing Spiro Agnew worshiper was also good for some laughs. In summary, this was a mostly fair ep of "Laugh-In".
