This Would Never Happen
Hitchcoc22 July 2013
A scientist from India gets shot after requesting that he be left alone, without a bodyguard. Now they need to remove a bullet from his head or face a major international incident. The only doctor who has the knowledge to operate is 5000 miles away on a Hawaiian vacation. There is a surgeon who can do the work but does not have the insight. So they set up a connection, using great power and bouncing a TV signal off the moon. The use of satellites comes later, but the concept is valid. What is incomprehensible is that they use the power grid and shut down the power to millions of people. Can you imagine the panic. Not to mention just how important this guy is. Sometimes things got so far fetched it was impossible to pay attention to the science.
