Passing in the Night
When Jerry is unable to tell people he can't meet them at a movie, everything disintegrates. When he doesn't show up, alternate plans abound. George,,of course, is at the center of the screw up, but Elaine's intractability doesn't help. Kramer adds to the fuel by wanting to leave the line and get a hot dog at this highly thought of place. Before long, they are shouting in the theater, going to a different show, and absolutely messing things up for other people. It's a Shakespearean comedy, as they actually pass each other without noticing. There is also a less funny thing with Jerry and a pushy, obnoxious fellow comic. Overall, this was really a great episode.
"What a night"
This episode is actually misplaced in the IMDb order. This one goes after The Visa.
This is a more unstable episode than The Visa. It has better moments than that episode but it also has worse. It starts off quite weak but gets better with each minute passing.
I think there are two things that make this a good episode: real time and realism. By real time I mean that the episode happens in the length of 20 mins. Maybe not exactly in that time but they make it feel that way. This gives the episode a sense of momentum, that everything is happening at the same time and, well, a major part happens in the same place AT the same time. The dynamic between our 4 characters is relentless and it makes for one of the most entertaining episodes in the season (at least from the middle on). And by realism I mean that, given the location and the theme of the episode, we get a lot of references and commentary on the movie-going experience and that's the great thing about Seinfeld. It's about real life. And it goes beyond the major plot points. Kramer not liking the theater food, Elaine commenting on men and movies, Elaine tackling George from behind. These are the little details that make these characters so real.
The thing that keeps this episode from being better is Jerry's story in general. The stand up missed shows don't add anything to the episode and this storyline has the most annoying character. There's also the cab driver that's leads nowhere and, in general terms, Jerry's story is the only one that doesn't strictly revolve around the movies and that's a shame.

best episode of season 4
this the best episode of season 4 because its one of those episodes that they are outside and its one plot not following 4 stories, and its hilarious cause there going to the movies but the get lost and meet some funny characters its just "great". this is no just the best of season 4 is one of the best in the whole bunch.
so if you ever buy the series check to have season 4.and a good thing about the movie its hilarious all the jokes are funny even the idea of the plot. but i don't wanna give anything away to spoil it but this is a must see Seinfeld episode its as much fun as "the jimmy" and better than the "smelly car" and they even give jokes about the movies the sounds, the names i could watch it again and again and wont get tired of it.
giddy up for "the movie"

My favourite episode. Tribute Review to Willis Reed
Hey!
The Movie is my favourite episode of the Seinfeld series. This was a Season four episode.
This is a tribute Review for Willis Reed. He has nothing to do with Seinfeld but Seinfeld is based in New York and Willis Reed helped capture two nba titles for the New York Knickerbockers.

What is this episode about?: The group arrange to see a movie. How hard can that be?
Jerry is triple booked with his comedy act us trying to catch a movie.
The other 3 fumble at the theaters.
Story and The Production overview: A fun bonkers episode. It reminded me of a loony toons episode which is probably why I like this episode.
Everyone does their thing and other characters are dumb and rude for no reason.
Highlight: the whole episode... Guy who says gasoline
Laugh meter: 10
What can be learned?: people are rude and dumb
Verdict: let's go to the movies. Wish Seinfeld did a movie finale instead.
