George story line is hilarious, Elaine's is just alright
pledgerock28 February 2022
The George story line is classic, we all know the phrase "The Timeless Art of Seduction" and the modeling scene with Kramer as the photographer is hilarious.

Elaine's story is funny but the idea that no doctor will see her is a little ridiculous.

Also, I just feel like there's way too much going on, the write off and the stereo, the possible bomb, the photo girl, the rash...writing could've been more concise. But it's a great ep just for the George storyline. That moment when the guy working at the photo place gives him a sly grin and George looks at him like "hiii???"

It's a Write-Off!
Samuel-Shovel30 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
In "The Package", Kramer tries to get Jerry a refund on a broken stereo by mailing a damaged one and demanding money back from the USPS. George flirts with a girl at the photo development shop by having her develop racy pictures of him. Elaine gets blacklisted by all the doctors in NYC because she's "difficult".

The blownup picture of George is definitely iconic and I love the "write-off" exchange between Jerry and Kramer. Those two moments alone are enough for me to consider this one a classic episode.

More Hit and Miss

I did get a kick out of Elaine's inability to get help with a rash that has developed because doctors have written negative comments about her on her medical chart. This joke runs through the whole thing, including a trip to a veterinarian. She scratches her way through the whole episode. She even affect the life of Jerry's Uncle Leo. Meanwhile, George believes that the cute girl at the one hour photo place has the hots for him based on the photos he has had developed. George thinks she wants his body and has photos made of various poses in his underwear. This brings in a third element. It also gets into a package sent to Seinfeld which is one of Kramer's scams to get Jerry a new stereo system. Jerry is facing mail fraud because of Kramer's actions. Newman is over the top in this one.

HELLO!!!! A difficult episode
ThunderKing628 August 2023
I side with Elaine on this one. It wasn't her fault. The doctors were very sensitive.

August 28th 2023.

What was this episode of Seinfeld about?: Jerry is busted for mail fraud.

George plays games with a girl at the photo shop.

Elaine is harassed by doctors

Kramer outs Jerry.

Newman returns and tries to seek vengeance against Jerry,

The Story and the Production Overview: A fun episode. It's rare in the latter days of Seinfeld for all four characters to have interesting arcs.

Jerry's story and George's Story are fascinating.

Then there is Newman, he shows up and makes his presence known.

Highlight: Kramer leaving Jerry hanging after screwing himm, Kramer confusing Jerry, Newman scenes, George not realizing he was teasing a Northstar.

Villain: Newman and the Doctors

Laugh meter: 10

Girlfriend attractiveness level: Not a girlfriend, but the photo shop girl was a cute 9.

Overall, A solid episode.

What can be learned?: Be careful of who you put your pictures in the hands of.

Verdict: Timeless art of seduction, indeed.

One hour photo

Warning: Spoilers
Heather Campbell plays photo store Sheila, who George in his usual way finds himself attracted to. Anyway, I first watched Seinfeld when it debuted in the 1990s, and upon reflection I sometimes if the supporting actors at the time are still acting, like Heather Campbell, or have they retired. Anyway, Phil Hartman makes an uncredited appearance as the phone caller. Anyway, I'm enjoying very much re-watching Seinfeld after having first watched it when it debuted in the 1990s, and in fact it debuted I think four years before Friends, and they became flagship programs on Must See TV, along with the underrated Union Square.

Warning: Spoilers
I like the bit where ''Fake Erased'', Write-Offs, Mail Frayd, the Ad-''Bomb-able'' Snowman, and the ''Timeless Art of Seduction''... ''I remembered I did a whole project solely based on privacy invasion.'' ''Christmas card nipple'' joke, ''At the Newman's co-worker in the mail 'interrogation rm.' looks like me whenever I watch a typical 'Seinfeld' episode; either bored or actually drifted to sleep...'' 'The Bizarro Jerry' wuz 'Art Vandelay', this ep. is 'Dr. Van Nostrund', one of Newman's many long, pointless dialogues that are just non-sense time fillers, this ep. wuz just as dull & dumb as 'Thre Brisk' wuz...

one of the worst episodes of the entire series
daddysarm6 September 2020
The next 2 episodes are weak also. I suppose some people wanted to see photos of george in his undies. It takes all kinds. Oh, and way WAY too much Newman.
