Brutal Crime
Hitchcoc26 January 2019
A gay man is killed while being held in jail for being drunk and disorderly. The man accused of killing him is an overweight man who was also drunk and who can't remember anything about the events of the evening. Sam investigates the body and finds that while being tromped, a different shoe size appears in the bruising on the body. This means a policeman would be responsible for the death. Sam, because of her doing a good job, crosses the thin blue line.

Police corruption?
Sleepin_Dragon8 December 2019
What starts off as an almost jolly, light hearted story, soon becomes a complex mystery. The death of a gay man in a cell causes Sam to question whether he was killed by his drunken Cell mate, or a copper. Was it a homophobic attack?

Lots of insight into Sam's personal life, and the events surrounding the death of her father. They made her such an interesting character, it never felt too heavy, it was always just right. Shows in the nineties often had a gay themed story, it's funny how times have changed.

What a cast! Philip Glenister, Ken Stott, Brendan Scott and Dorian Lough, many shows would have rightly been delighted to have such a cast assembled.
