- After Bart puts his 'lucky red cap' in the white laundry and turns the wash load pink, Homer is upset that he now has no white workshirts. Marge claims noone will notice, but upon arriving at the Power Plant for work, Homer is immediately put under scrutiny for being different.
Homer is then given an assessment form to fill out, but he is fearful of filling it out and being seen as a nutcase. Homer attempts to get Marge or Lisa to fill out the form for him, but they refuse. Only Bart is willing to volunteer, and growing bored with the quiz, checks 'Yes' for every choice. This causes the Power Plant to have Homer put in a mental institution.
Homer is put in a room with a guy who thinks he is Michael Jackson. Having no clue who or what Michael Jackson looks like, Homer simply accepts this person for who he is. Eventually, Michael calls the Simpsons home at Homer's request, and tells the family where Homer is.
Marge goes to get Homer, and helps convince the staff that her husband is sane. As thanks, Homer invites Michael to their home for dinner. When Homer calls ahead to tell Bart, Bart quickly spreads the word that Michael Jackson will be at his home.
Homer, Marge and Michael arrive to throngs of fans, who soon turn shocked and angry upon seeing that unlike the Michael Jackson they know, this person is big and yellow-skinned.
