As I said in an earlier review, this show deserves more accolades, and from what I've seen so far, there seem to be more cheesy episodes on the Night Gallery then the Sixth Sense, although I'm still a fan of both. This particular story has a woman named Laura Anders(Susan Strasberg)currently employed at a cryogenics research center, and her late former employer is currently dead, but frozen, so that he can rise again; he fell down the stairs, or so we're led to believe, but more on that later. Gary Collins is the main star for this series as Dr. Rhodes, and he's asked to help Laura, who's seeing visions of the dead Dr. Cloister(Robert Brubaker), and it truly scares her. Look for a few familiar faces in John Hillerman(Adrian), David Huddleston(Dr. Peakes), and Joel Fabiani(Edward). Adrain and Edward work at the estate, and Dr. Peakes is a cohort of Dr. Rhodes, and one of the doctors knows about Laura before Rhodes takes her case. The freezer room was done fairly well for a 1972 show, and the house's atmosphere was equally effective. After seeing what actually happens to the dead man in visions together, Dr. Rhodes and Laura witness Dr. Cloister being pushed down the stairs to his death by Edward, and now the doctor's ghost wants revenge, although it wasn't the wisest decision of Edward's to run in the freezer room, where he freezes to death in a predictable scene. It's too bad these episodes weren't simply Night Gallery episodes, instead of the show within a show that we were given, but I do recommend this episode if you get the rare chance to see it, or the entire series as well.
