Pretty good suspense as Sky and blind young Johnnie try to rescue seeing-eye dog Barney before robber can shoot him. Seems Barney saw robber commit his crime and has chased after him since. In effect, Barney's gone wild, while Johnnie needs him. Now Sky has tracked Barney to remote rocky area where coyote hunters including the robber are hunting. So, will Sky find Barney before the coyote hunters mistake him and, with the robber, shoot him.
Lots of well-photographed action around the rocky outcroppings. Barney's actions may be a stretch, but what the heck, as long as we worry about the big dog. Plus, what would Johnny do without his beloved seeing eyes. Fans of Penny may be disappointed since she doesn't get much screen time, but there's good flying time. All in all, a fairly suspenseful and somewhat poignant entry in the SK series.
