- The Sliders visit a world where overworked and stressed-out people are sent to fantasy camps to improve their work output.
- The Sliders land in a world where everyone is dressed in business attire, black suits and ties. Alcohol is banned in favor of caffeinated drinks on this world where everyone works 100 hour weeks and all unproductive behavior is frowned upon. The professor is picked up by the authorities for being out of uniform and taken to a hospital. They label him a fracture and send him to a unique "park" for therapy. The professor is hypnotized into thinking that he is a famous detective and given a pocket watch that he is compelled to check every hour. It is actually a device that suppresses his personality and reinforces the detective personality. At the therapy park, he is placed in a world similar to historic England where a Jack the Ripper like story is acted out by the residents. He is the detective hired to solve the murders. Wade, Rembrandt, and Quinn get jobs as characters in the park. Their attempts to get the professor out are hampered by the fact that he does not know them except as the characters that they play and the theft of the timer by one of the local boys. The fun turns uglier when a real murder is committed and they must find the killer before Wade becomes his next victim. They boy who stole the timer returns it and gives them a valuable clue to the killer's identity. They solve the case and the professor breaks his pocket watch in a fall and his own personality and all his memories return.
