The sliders land on a world where people, including children, do nothing but work. They are denied alcohol and other life's pleasures to focus on work. Some people have a psychotic break due to the stress. The professor is mistaken for one of these people, and he's placed in a theme park where the setting and characters are from the Jack the Ripper days of old. The professor, thanks to mind manipulation, believes he's a Sherlock Holmes type of detective and must solve a murder mystery. This is truly one of the better Slider episodes. The viewer will be invested from start to finish. There's even a little kid who pickpockets his way into the slider's hearts. Does he travel with them when they leave? Watch and find out!
