Best Spongebob episodes ever!
mwcrunner3 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
These are without a doubt the best SpongeBob episodes ever and the funniest. Now imagine if two guys like SpongeBob and Patrick were painting someone's inside of their house and they get paint on one of their possessions they would probably try the same methods that SpongeBob and Patrick tried. XD. Now if there was such a thing as paint that comes off with saliva then it would be better then just washing it, but of course there's no such thing. XD. Also its really funny seeing Plankton trying to get away on that walking Krabby Patty even when Plankton sets to maximum overdrive. XD. Its also really hilarious seeing Patrick trying to decide what to get at the Krusty Krab and Squidward trying to help him out but only gets upset. XD. Also they use the word poop a lot in this episode. lol.

The BEST Spongebob Episode Ever
jacobtighe-4808921 April 2021
Wet Painters is a timeless classic, it's well paced, the jokes land and it's overall just an amazingly fun time.

Krusty Krab Training Video, while not as good as Wet Painters is still brilliant and used to be my favourite episode as a kid. These 2 brilliant episodes side by side make for the greatest Spongebob episode ever.

Best Episodes Ever!!!

Warning: Spoilers
This is my personal favorite episode of Spongebob Squarepants ever! Both mini-episodes are wonderful and ones that I watch whenever they are on TV no matter what I'm doing.

The "Wet Pinters" episode is wonderful. Spongebob and Patrick are asked by Mr. Krabs to paint his home. Spongebob and Patrick do a seemingly perfect job until they discover they have put a splotch of paint on Mr. Krabs' first dollar (one of many first pieces of currency Mr Krabs has). The hilarity ensues when these two Mensa members try to remove the paint only to make it worse.

The next mini-episode is the Krusty Krab Training Video. After working a lot of retail I enjoyed this one the most and it my favorite of all time. Basically the video is the narrator talking about everything needed to work at the Krusty Krab except for one important thing: how to make the Krabby Patty. Scene after scene and image after image the hilarity just gets bigger and bigger with Spongebob being over excited, Squidward being under excited, Mr. Krabs being a money-grubbing twit, and Patrick being his perpetual dense self. The best part is the motto of the Krusty Krab employee: P.O.O.P., which stand for "People Order Our Patties." Wonderful stuff!

These two episodes are reason enough to purchase the Season 3 Box Set. Enjoy!

The two best SpongeBob episodes.
jdgardenback7 May 2022
Wet Painters is probably my favorite all-time SpongeBob episode. The jokes simply never miss here and they are delivered in a lighting-fast rate. Also, this is easily one of Patrick's best episodes as his naive, dimwitted nature really shines through in his eleven minutes of screen time. The following Krusty Krab Training Video is just as effective, with some of the most clever jokes in the SpongeBob canon (P. O. O. P? C'mon, the writers were definitely on their A-game with that one.) All in all, the back-to-back duo of "Wet Painters" and "Krusty Krab Training Video" is simply some of the best animated absurdist comedy out there, and this is an excellent starting place to get into the show. Effortlessly hilarious stuff.

A personal favorite

Warning: Spoilers
Wet Painters - Ohhh my gosh. I could go on and on about how much I love Wet Painters. In this episode, Mr. Krabs gives SpongeBob and Patrick a task to paint his house; however, before he leaves them to it, he treatens to, and I quote, "have yer rear ends cut off... AND MOUNTED OVER ME FIRE PLACE!" if they do so much as let a jot of paint get on anything. Hilarious antics ensue when they accidentally get paint on his first dollar, and try to get it off. Every gag, every line, every scene in this episode just makes me crack a smile every, single, time, without fail. All three of our characters are perfectly characterized; and the ending is nothing but the perfect conclusion for a man who just tricked his employees into thinking they were dead meat. I can't do it justice. My favorite of S3, and a top contender of favorite episode of the entire show. Don't sleep on it! (10/10)

Krusty Krab Training Video - Another episode that I love to death. It's a mock-up of one of those old training videos, corresponding to the Krusty Krab. The big reason why this is such a joy to watch for me is the narrator. He's witty, he's informative, he's immensely quotable, I absolutely love this guy. Every gag sticks the landing, and SpongeBob eagerness bouncing off of the narrator's charming patience is the icing on the cake. It could've easily overstayed it's welcome, but no, I wouldn't have it a minute shorter. Love it! (10/10)

Overall - I... don't believe it. A perfect score for BOTH halves! I think it goes without saying that I absolutely adore this pair, through and through, no strings attached. I don't think I can properly do this justice. Maybe it's just me, but this is, quite possibly, my favorite duo.

Score: 10 + 10 = 20/20 -> 10/10 PERFECT SCORE! Must-see.
