comedic genius

Brilliant. Nothing short of brilliant! This may seem to be an overexaggeration, and perhaps it is, but I feel as if it is closer to the truth than it may seem. This show is a cartoon often referred to as a "kids show" however, in its finest and earlier seasons, Spongebob transcended age groups by being chock full of some of the funniest absurdist humor on television, and this is one of the show's best and funniest episodes. Both parts are nearly flawless and take full advantage of their premises' comedic possibilities. Plus, it confirms my suspicion that Mr. Lawrence was far and away the best voice actor on the show (which is a MASSIVE compliment as almost all of the voice actors are top notch); every time Plankton yells I burst out laughing. He's great, and the episode surrounding him is great, and nearly every single joke in this episode is great. It's so great...so great...

An absolute classic

Although Spongeguard has its fine moments and few quotable lines, it holds up as an episode that seems barely memorable at best. However, the algae's always greener has stood the test of time as one of the best episodes of spongebob episodes ever made, at least in my opinion, but who cares about that? Now the reason I say that this episode is so favorable is because of the constant remarks made by plankton that leave me in stitches every time I watch it. Along with that, the visual gags transcend this episode from just a funny one with memorable lines, to an instant classic. Well, that's my 2 cents and as you can tell by my attempts at sounding intelligent, this was written by a 15 year old with nothing better to do than watch spongebob on a Tuesday. Why are you still reading this? Just watch the episode. You'll love it. If for some reason you don't, you need to have a good look in the mirror. Alright I'm out 👋

The Alga's Always Greener is PEAK Comedy

Warning: Spoilers
The Algae's Always Greener is no joke one of the funniest episodes from Spongebob, and an underrated one as well. I had never laughed at a show hard until I watched this episode, it's great! The entire plotline of the episode as well is simple yet extremely interesting. Plankton wants to switch lives with Mr Krabs, which is a neat concept! And yes, they did hit with the execution. Every joke lands so hard and they hit so hard. It rapid-fires joke by joke so much you can't even breathe. Even this underrated episode can easily show why people prefer classic Spongebob over modern Spongebob. Modern Spongebob is "meh", it's not really bad but it's not really for me, but classic Spongebob is probably one of the greatest shows I've ever watched. Even an unpopular episode like this proves this. Absolutely neat episode.
