- Riding in the elevator in the SGC, O'Neill is visited by Daniel Jackson who needs his help. Daniel tells him that Anubis is headed for Abydos to search for something called the Eye of Ra, a relic that would make Anubis all-powerful. It's essential that SG-1 go to Abydos and secure the Eye but no one has seen it - including Daniel - nor has anyone ever been able to find it. On the planet they see their old friend Skaara and with Daniel's help locate the Eye. They also find a tablet that speaks of a lost city of the ancients. When Anubis and his troops land in force there is little anyone can do to stop them. In the end it's left to Daniel to decide if he will try to stop Anubis - thereby breaking a cardinal rule of the Ancients.—garykmcd
- Skaara and the population of Abydos organize to defend the Eye of Ra from Anubis and Daniel Jackson appears and tells that they will be helped. Then he meets Jack O'Neill in the elevator and asks the SG-1 to help the inhabitants of Abydos to find and protect the artifact from Anubis; otherwise his power will be increased ten fold since he has the other eyes. Jonas and Sam find the relic but Anubis promises to destroy Abydos if O'Neill does not deliver the Eye of Ra to him. Meanwhile Anubis is surrounded by the mother ships of the other Goa'uld lords. What will happen next?—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Jack initially doubts the veracity of an appearance by ascended Daniel, who urgently demands SGC's help to stop Anubis gaining unprecedented power by collecting the Eye of Ra, the last of a set of six empowering jewels. As Teal'c had a similar experience, Hammond authorizes the quest to retrieve it first from the pyramid on Abydos, where Skaara's people never even heard of anything that fits. While Jonas's hieroglyphs search and Carter's firepower assistance find it, Anubis's ship arrives and sends his prime guard Her'ak to demand the jewel, having laid siege on the pyramid. Jack blackmails Daniel to 'do something' and Jonas finds a priceless tablet about the location of the home of the Ancients. Confronting Anubis, Daniel gets the cleverly arranged assistance of Lord Yu's league of system lords and offers a deal, yielding the Eye he uses it to wipe out first the fleet, then the planet. SG-1 barely returns safely before the iris is attacked, too, yet gets a relatively pleasant surprise when returning to Abydos.—KGF Vissers
- With Anubis heading to Abydos looking for a valuable artifact known as the Eye of Ra, ascended Daniel Jackson contacts Colonel O'Neill and the rest of SG-1 to have them go to Abydos and find the Eye before Anubis. With the help of Daniel, Jonas and Carter find a secret chamber where the Eye is kept but not before O'Neill, Teal'c, Skaara, and a group of defenders are overrun and trapped inside the pyramid housing the stargate. But Daniel also finds a tablet, written in Ancient, suggesting that there is an Ancient city, lost for thousands of years, that would give Earth weapons with which to defeat Anubis. But the only way to get the tablet back to Earth for further translation and to search for the lost city, Daniel may be breaking a high rule of ascension to destroy Anubis. If he doesn't, Abydos will be destroyed.—timdalton007
