- A television news crew has unearthed information about an Air Force project called "Prometheus". They believe it to be a generator, but know it uses Trinium, an element not found on Earth. In order to keep them quiet the Air Force allows them to film the X-303, a spaceship based on Asgard technologies, otherwise known as Prometheus. Things turn south when the news crew arm themselves and hold the Prometheus, as well as Sam and Jonas, hostage.—trekkie4christ
- Carter is approached in a parking lot by TV reporter Julia Donovan who wants to know about a multi-billion dollar project known as Prometheus. She also has a piece of trinium. Carter refuses to answer any questions. Donovan is due to air her report in four days time and refuses to back down, even after the President intervenes with the head of the TV network to kill the story. As a compromise, the military agrees to let Donovan film the X-303 but what they really want to get is her source after which they will destroy all of the evidence. O'Neill doesn't think it's a good idea but the decision is made. Donovan and her boss, Al Martell, get a thorough tour of the ship. The camera crew accompanying them however soon take control of the ship and have threatened to blow it up unless Adrian Conrad and Col. Frank Simmons are released from custody.—garykmcd
- When the snoopy TV reporter Julia Donovan approaches Sam with inside information about a top-secret project in Nevada, the government decides to authorize a tour for Donovan and her crew, provided they sign a non-disclosure agreement. In return, the Air Force would receive all the classified material from the journalist. Carter and Quinn host the group and they go to a secret underground facility where the spaceship X-303 is being built. But soon Donovan's crew, which is composed of rogue NID agents, hijacks the spacecraft and activate its reactor. Then they demand the release of Col. Frank Simmons and the Goa'uld host Adrian Conrad in a short period; otherwise, they would blow up the spacecraft (and, consequently, the whole State of Nevada). Meanwhile, Carter manages to escape from the hijackers and hides in a store room. When she contacts O'Neill, they plot a bold plan to recover the X-303. Will it work?—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- TV star reporter Julia Donovan forces the Pentagon's hand by threatening to expose what she knows about secret project Prometheus and an alien metal used for some generator. Her studio boss, Al Martell, obtains, after presidential intervention, a solution: he signs a non-disclosure agreement and they record, for after the national security secrecy embargo, a visit to the Nevada base where they are shown spaceship X-303 being built, adapting alien technology. While Jonas and Carter are guiding the tour, they are taken hostage with Donovan when rogue NID agents in the TV crew hold them at gun-point and turn the ship into a bomb capable of destroying all Nevada. Major Paul Davis and SG-1 must accept the demand to release Colonel Frank Simmons and the known Goa'uld host Adrian Conrad, who take charge of the spaceship. Carter, believed killed, narrowly escapes but gets back inside before the launch, while Jack and Teal'c barely manage to sneak in by Goa'uld glider before the hyper-drive is started. By the time they overpower the hijackers, they have lost control and forget where they are. The arrival of Thor by spaceship looks like a rescue, but it's an Asgard cry for urgent help in their world.—KGF Vissers
