- On an astronomical black hole observation mission, SG-1 finds a fatal bacterial mass-epidemic on a planet where the natives told then-incredulous Daniel months ago that the coming solar eclipse would bring disaster. They also take back to the Cheyenne Mountain Base a surviving, fairly healthy, orphaned young girl named Cassandra, and awakes Sam's maternal instinct. The Naquadah traces found in her blood turn out to have made her immune, but after she has a seizure they are diagnosed to constitute a huge bomb, somehow triggered by rescuing her; the whole thing must be planned as a 'Trojan Horse' by the Goa'uld. Sam takes the prospect of sacrificing Cassie personally and is prepared to take personal risks.—KGF Vissers
- SG-1 travels to a planet where they are to meet SG-7 and observe a unique astronomical phenomenon. They arrive to find everyone dead, apparently from some type of virus. They come across a young girl, Cassandra, who is apparently immune to the disease, taking her back to Earth with them. Sam Carter takes a liking to Cassandra, but they soon discover that she has explosive materials implanted in her that will cause a massive nuclear explosion in less than two hours' time. It's clear that the Goa'uld planned to use her to destroy the Stargate complex on Earth. Their only course of action is to return Cassandra to her planet as soon as possible, but it is under attack by the Goa'uld and Teal'c believes that sending her through the stargate may activate the device prematurely. The only choice left to them is not a pleasant one.—garykmcd
- Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c travel to a planet to meet the SG-7 and witness a solar eclipse and a black hole through a telescope. However, they find the inhabitants and the SG-7 dead, and Dr. Janet Fraiser counts almost 1,500 casualties. Out of the blue, they find a girl in a field, and she is the only survivor. Jack and Teal'c decide to stay in the facility to see the phenomenon while the rest of the team returns with the girl. Sam gets close to the girl called Cassandra, but soon, Dr. Fraiser discovers that the Goa'uld have implanted a Naquadah bomb in Cassandra to destroy the SGC. Further, she cannot be sent back to her planet since the Stargate will dissolve the bomb. What shall the SGC do?—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
