Daniel puts his video recorder on the table in the "lab" so he can take off his back pack. He then starts stuffing artifacts into his backpack. Before he picks up the second artifact, it can be seen that the recorder is on the table, along with another artifact. The camera pans up to Daniel stuffing his backpack, then back to the table where the artifact and the recorder are gone.
When Daniel is shown the map of all the cities that have been destroyed by the Goa'uld, a map of Europe can be seen with Czechoslovakia being a country. The country was split into Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993, while, later in the episode, Daniel confirms that the present year is 1997 when he looks himself up in the database. It is unlikely that a map in such an important facility would be outdated.

While dialing Chulak, Sgt. Walter Harriman is heard calling out the number of locked chevrons. For a moment, he is seen while the announcement is heard, but his lips don't move.
While dialing the Stargate, Harriman says they've encoded Chevron 1, and the next shot shows the symbol for Earth being encoded, which in Stargate lore is the origin point and is normally the seventh Chevron.
