They have a planted a bomb in Atlantis, set to go off the next time a gate is established between Earth and the Pegasus galaxy. As the Atlanteans are preparing a status update to be sent on short notice, time is of the essence. - Atlantis faces the threat of sabotage when it's revealed that a Goa'uld has left a bomb in the city that will be activated when they next dial-in to transmit their weekly status report. Earth manages to get a message to Atlantis via the Pegasus which returns to the city to assist with the investigation. The saboteur has been quite clever, including broadcasting a signal to alert approaching Wraith cruisers that the city has not been destroyed. While McKay and others work on finding a solution, Sheppard and Ronon Dex are prepared to use strong-arm tactics to find and get information from the traitor.—garykmcd
- SGC in Cheyenne mountain desperately seeks a way to communicate to Atlantis that a Trust-accomplice placed a bomb to be activated by their next stargate message to earth, which given the distances and need to use an alternative channel is only possible by sending a team to a planet in between to the Pegasus, before that star-ship moves out of range. It arrives last minute, just when McKay has everything ready to send earth an urgent update about fighting among Wraith ships and discovery of Atlantis not being destroyed, so they must fake another submerging.—KGF Vissers
