The cherry light is placed on the roof of the Gran Torino as it careens down the the hill, but it's missing during the windshield shots of Starsky & Hutch.
One of the bad guys cuts the brake line on Starsky and Hutch's car, but only cuts a rear brake line. This would have disabled only the rear brakes instead of causing a total brake failure as depicted.
When Starsky & Hutch pull up outside Sarah Kingston's apartment block, they park directly outside. When they leave, Starsky's car is parked on the opposite side of the street.
From 3300 Woodcliff road in Sherman Oaks, where the brakes start to fail to 262 Monte Mar Drive in Cheviot Hills LA where the Torino finally stops, there are 9.1 miles, a very long distance with many corners and 90 degrees turns to make at high speed and without brakes to finish alive and safe. And when they leave the crime scene, they are rolling west by Mulholland Drive and take Woodcliff road at their right to the north, but the final point, where the car stops is in the opposite direction. And another: by the corner of Monte Mar Dr and Club Dr, they pass twice.
Driving to Lou's gym, Starsky & Hutch from Motor Ave turn east on National Blvd, and are still eastbound coming back instead of being westbound.
