Warning: Spoilers
It's Susan's 30th birthday and for some reason she's feeling older than her years. Thanks to new intern Wendie Jo Sperber, she gets to experience use again first by roller skating then by finding her rhythm with sassy Puerto Rican Richard Beauchamp who brings her out of her painful leg shell. There are a lot of age jokes at Channing's expense, some funny and some not, and it's obvious that the addition to the cast of Bruce Baum as health food restaurant owner turn security guard Alf helped this show quickly jump the shark. Every moments that he appears on screen is cringe-worthy. Sperber though is much funnier, and Beauchamp is charming and sexy. Channing obviously is enjoying the pratfalls that her character gets into and she looks hysterical in Bo Derek beaded hair.
